St. Mary's Christmas Concert

Tonight we went to watch my nieces (Mya's cousins) in the St. Mary's School Christmas concert.  Grandma asked that all the girls (even the ones not in the concert yet- you have to be in kindergarten:) to wear dresses so she could get some pictures...
Looking at baby Jesus.  Mya wanted to pick up Baby Jesus and hold him so badly!  She just loves babies right now.

Jude, Ellie, Grace, and Mya.  I could not get rid of that red eye in Grace's left eye!

I ordered Mya's Christmas outfit online this year and it hasn't arrived yet.  Luckily Jude had one Mya could borrow.  Mya was so proud that it was Jude's dress.

Sweet Stuff.

Halloween!

Happy Halloween everybody!  After much deliberation Mya finally decided to go as Butterfly Barbie.  We went to Zoo Boo on Sunday night with James and Keisha and their family.  Lots of fun.  It was our first time there and so glad we finally went!

Mya and Nevaeh (as Cleopatra).

On Monday (Halloween) Mya decided she would wear the ladybug costume her cousin Jude had worn a couple years ago.  They had a Halloween party at preschool and then she wore it out trick-or-treating in our neighborhood that night.  Fun times:)

Fall Catch Up!

We had the Tahoe packed for one last weekend at the lake.  notice how the only seat in the back is Mya's!  Got her set up with the customary headphones, iPad, and sucker.  Perfectly peaceful for Mama.
Jasper has a little bed set up on the floor:)

A perfect day for riding 4-wheeler.

Mya's 4 wheeler was the perfect size for Papa!

Hmmm, Randy looks cute on pink:)

Just last weekend Randy's mom and dad brought us to Shakopee for the Renassaince Festival to celebrate Merrill's Birthday.  Steph had been there before and said all the little girls dress up in fairy costumes, so she brought one for each of the girls.  The picture of Mya's isn't the best, but I couldn't resist because of her sassy pose!  (I wonder if she realizes how she really looks! lol!)  Uggh, I've always hated fake kids tattoos.  Mya has smurfette on her arm.  Classy;)

The suckers were a hit.

It makes my stomach do flips just looking at this picture!  Eeek!
Auntie Aleshia rode the elephant with Ellie and Josiah, and Mya.
LOVE Aleshia's hair.

Look at those cute little kooky buns and fairy wings!

Swinging with Grace and Jude in some giant medival looking bird swing thing.  Whatever keeps the kiddos happy!

And...... we're done.  It was a fun time had by all!  Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Miranowski!!

2nd Day of School and Still So Happy!

Mya just LOVES school, and that is an understatement.  It's "her thing" and she pops out of bed on school days and is dressed with her shoes on before I can even get in the shower!  It also helps that her Auntie Aleshia (Randy's sister) is her preschool teacher this year.  There are also FIVE kids from Mya's daycare in her class!  Wow.  It's so crazy for me to see the little group of kids she's going to grow up with.  And they're all amazing kids, by the way.  It is going to be a very fun year;)  I can't believe that next year I'll be taking back to school pictures of a kindergartner.  Oh my.
(that's a little Rolo in her hand.  Yes, I bribed her with candy to get her to take a picture today.  She just looked so darn cute today!  I couldn't resist it!)

First Day of Preschool!

The last snapshots of summer....

I just found these photos on my camera today.  We had Jude and Ellie (our neices) over one day late this summer and broke out the good ol' slip n slide...

Weekend at Ya Ya's

Randy and I needed a date night.  Bad.  No offense, Mya;)  Since my mom lives in the cities we thought we'd do our date night there so that Mya could have a sleepover with her Ya Ya.  We picked up Great Grandma Bev in Fergus on the way and off we went to the big city.  It was an awesome getaway.  Randy and I got some shopping done at the Albertville Outlet Mall while Mya hung out with her favorite ladies (Ya Ya, Great Grandma, and Auntie Ashley).  Mom just sent me these pictures and I couldn't resist posting them.  Some really cute ones.

Strike a Pose!

We had a crazy busy weekend.  Randy was gone on a fishing trip at Lake Sacagawea near Bismarck and whenever he's gone I fill up mine and Mya's schedule so that we don't have too much time to miss him.  We kind of like him, so it's hard for us when he's gone:)  Friday night we had movie night and watched RIO!  I love love love that movie.  Mya likes it, but prefers anything with the Disney Princesses.  She tells people, "Rio is Mommy's favorite movie."
Saturday we headed to Great Grandma's in Fergus to see Ya Ya and Auntie Ashley.  Ya Ya made tatortot hotdish and Grandma made cherry pie.  All delicious!  Half way through our visit at Grandma's the power went out!  Apparantly something happened at the power company and Grandma lost power for about an hour.  We were just about to head out the door when this happened to spend the rest of the day at the lake, so Grandma said, "No problem.  I'll just read a book by the window:)"  Any hit of positive attitude I have I got from my Grandma Bev!
The lake was beautiful, as always.  Mya and Ya Ya played checkers while I snuck in a much-needed nap.  It's exhausting taking care of a VERY busy 4 year old and Randy's 3 dogs when he's gone.  Completely exhausting.  Pretty sure I was napping with my mouth wide open.  Drool and all.
Sunday we headed back to Fergus to celebrate PaPa's Birthday.  We had lunch at the Mexican restaraunt, hit up the park by the otter (huge, gigantic hit with the munchkin) and then ended the day with Dairy Queen.  Mya decided to indulge us in an impromptu photo shoot right outside the Dairy Queen.  She was in a very girly mood this day.  The morning started with her accessorizing her party outfit with a necklace, bracelet, and the huge pink poofy headband you'll see in the pictures.  She obviously looked just smashing!  Hope everyone else had a great weekend, too!
