Warm and Fuzzy

Everytime I look at Mya all bundled up like this I laugh, so just had to get a picture of it. She used to scream and throw a tantrum every time we'd put her in her carseat, but she's not really doing that anymore. I think she likes being a little snowbaby:)

All Wrapped Up!

So I was wrapping presents the other night and Mya was lying next to me "helping". She loved the shiny bows, and sat and played with this one and kept herself occupied. The crazy Mommy that I am, I saw Mya playing with this one bow and I got the idea to do...............

THIS!

The Baby Einstein Zone!

This is Mya zoning in on her Baby Einstein video. She loves them! She coos at the screen and gets really excited when the toy dogs walk across. Some people have been criticizing these videos and I say that's all hogwash. They say that kids who watch these videos score lower in reading. Well, I think that's because some parents park their kids in front of these videos for hours and never read to them or interact with them instead. I think they're awesome when they're used correctly. I just had to say my piece on that issue:)

Mya's First Thanksgiving

It's getting pretty chilly outside!

Mya learned how to bounce in her bouncer this weekend!

Ya Ya stayed overnight on Friday night.
Once Mya went to bed we played dominoes with mom, ashley, and nathan.
Mya with her cousins Grace and Jude on Thanksgiving day at Grace's house.

A four generation picture on Thanksgiving day with Randy's Grandpa Bill and his mom, Steph.

Mya and Her Daddy

I don't have very many pics of Mya and her pops, so thought I'd post one today. I also can't believe how big she looks in this picture!! They grow up so darn fast.

Mya is 4 mos old!

We have a mini photo shoot on Mya's monthly Birthdays. Here's her 4 month shots.

This is Mya and Cooper. Randy gave me Cooper for our first Valentine's Day together in the eighth grade. Cooper is now Mya's.

Mya loves this bear blankie that Keisha and James gave her. When I set it on her tummy she grabs it and hugs it and sucks on its nose!:)

After the photo shoot I thought it would be a good idea to put the tree up. What a pain in the a**! I forget how much work it is to put these things up every year! I didn't even take it down last year. I just took the ornaments off of it, threw a sheet over it and put it in a bedroom downstairs. Just lugging the darn thing up and putting the lighta and ornaments back on is a chore. I was sweating when I was done!

Happy Halloweenie!!

Mya went as a butterfly. So precious. And I was "Miss Halloween." Yes, I made it up:)

Happy Halloween!!

Mya wore this cute little kitty cat outfit to daycare this morning. She looks so sad in this picture! She's going to be dressed up as a butterfly tonight, so look for lots of pictures of that hopefully tomorrow!

We - Are - Faaam-ily!

Mya loves to be read to already and I am so excited about it! She coos at the pictures and kicks and smiles as I read. She actually stares at the pages. It's so fun! And of course the whole family is part of it...including Bailey!
Feeding Mya is a family affair. Randy talks to her and keeps her happy while I shovel the food in. Yes, we have a system:)

This is my and Randy's 5 year anniversary weekend. We brought Mya to Ya Ya's in Minneapolis and Randy and I stayed in a hotel downtown and went to a comedy club. It was a blast. This is Sunday morning when we came to pick up Mya at Ya Ya's house in the big city:)

Yes, I'm Obsessed.

Okay, so I'm both obsessed with my new little girl and bestest friend and this blog. More pics for you today:)

This just looks to me like a "Yes I really am a Mommy now" picture:)

I wanted a nice picture of Mya and I, but she just wouldn't cooperate, she proceeded to start screaming after this was taken. And I don't mean crying, she has a "horror movie scream" that she uses when she wants to be picked up or done with something. It's pretty hilarious if you've heard it.

What can I say!

I'm 3 Months Old!!

Mya was 3 months old on Saturday and seems to be pretty happy about it:)

I LOOOOVE my Papasan Bouncer!!

Mya REFUSES to nap in her crib downstairs. But, she absolutely adores this bouncer and will nap in it for 2 hours. I took her blanket off her to snap this pictures because she had slid down and her legs are hanging off the end. She really is getting too big for it, but I just don't have the heart to take it away:)

Ooooh- Sttrreeetttcchh!

Girl's lunch

On Friday Mya and I met Great Grandma Bev, Auntie Ashley, and Great Aunt Melinda in Fargo for lunch at the new Mexican Village. Grandma is having her radiation treatments in Fargo and is doing really well and looks great!

After lunch Mya and I went over to Ashley's to watch Grey's Anatomy that she had Ti-Vo'd. I fed Mya while leaning her on this pillow and when she fell asleep I slid my arm out from under her and realized she had her whole body laying on the pillow. She stayed sound asleep while I took these pictures! So hilarious. But I just couldn't leave her like that I was terrified she'd roll off! Had to move her and of course she woke up:)

Cereal!!!!.....Cereal???

Mya tried cereal for the first time on Sunday night. Soo funny. She loved it. I was really surprised. I wasn't sure if she was quite ready for it, but everyone has been recommending it since she still gets up atleast twice at night. She did really well and it was a really cool "first".
