HApPy hALlOwEeN!

Mya found my witch hat headband.  Glad she got some use out of it.  I never did put the darn thing on:)

The Snow White shoes I ordered online didn't make it on time, so I had to improvise.  I bought some plain white sneakers at Wal-Mart, added some mod podge and snow white stickers, some bling, and presto!

Snow White!

A mouthful of M & M's!

We went to Fergus to visit Great Grandma and she had a Snow White book for Mya!  Thank you Great Grandma!!

Grandma had this adorable little bike and she and Mya found a little baby to ride on it.  It was so darn cute.

Well, it's been a pretty busy day!  Off to bed we go!

Oh Fall, How I Love Thee

Recently, to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary, Randy and I headed out to the lake.  We have a travel trailer camper set up out at my dad's place in Ottertail County.  Ya Ya (my mom) watched Mya and hubby and I headed out there with his three dogs to soak in the awesome fall weather and views.
Dad's barn with the lake peaking out in the background.  Pretty sure this is what my heaven will look like.

Dakota.  Her tail appears fuzzy in the pic because she never stops wagging it...furiously!

We went up the road to Inspiration Peak.   Inpiration Peak is , basically, a hill (more like a mountain) that you trek up to get to an overlook.  I nearly died hiking up it.  Randy had to keep turning around to make sure I was okay.  I'm such a loser!:)  Note to self:  walk on your treadmill and get that a$$ in shape!  From the overlook you can see several lakes and the yummy fall leaves.

Well Hello Pretty Pumpkin!

Every year Mya paints a pumpkin at daycare.  So cute!  When I went to pick her (and the pumpkin) up today I told her I'd have to take a picture of the pumpkin when we get home.  She said, "Yes, and I will sit by it!".  So proud!

Something a Little Different

Well, I don't know about you, but I must admit that I constantly find myself peering past cute kids' faces in the pictures on my friend's blogs to try to get a glimpse of their homes and how they decorate and "live" in them.  I'm a house junkie.  I love houses and decorating. I thought I'd switch things up a little bit and post some pictures of our own house in my favorite state:  DECORATED FOR FALL!:)

I LOVE weekends!

We went to Hutchinson this weekend for my cousin's wedding.   Traveling can be very stressful for our little family, but we still had a good time:)

Off we go back home...
Randy's dogs hanging on the deck after we got home.  Randy is in the house and they won't leave his side.

Mya refusing to look at the camera and say cheese.  Here she is walking her babies around in the backyard.

Hey You Muddy Butt!

Randy had some gravel hauled in and is doing some dirt work in our backyard.  Of course, Mya had to be right in the middle of all of it all... literally!

Mya knows exactly which one of these machines is a Bobcat and which is a tractor backhoe.  I thought I came home from the hospital with a baby girl???

This is what happened after sliding down the giant gravel pile!

Here's a close up for your viewing pleasure:)

I NEVER can get her to look at the camera, so this is a special picture of this crazy munchkin!
Another great smile from my girl!

The shoes did not fair well this day either, but Mya sure had fun.  That's what clearenced play shoes are for, right!?
