Arrowwood Resort

Randy's Mom and Dad got all of us (Randy and I and all of Randy's brothers and sister and our families) a weekend stay in a lodge at Arrowwood Resort near Alexandria.  We had such an awesome time.  We're hoping to return every year. 

Each log cabin had four units in it.  Ours was the bottom left.  It had 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.  Beautiful.  There was an ice skating rink and sledding hill right outside our door.

I am SO SO grateful my Mya has all her cousins:)  They love each other and I can't wait to watch them grow up together.  Lily, Ellie, Mya, and Popi.

Mya and I drove to Alexandria last Saturday to meet my mom and sister (Alec is kind of half way for each of us).  We spent the day shopping and this is Mya and my mom at lunch in a little diner in the Alec mall.  Mya spotted a huge brownie in the display case and just had to have it:)

So I was looking at old photos today and ran across some I'd put in Snapfish ages ago and had forgotten about.  Actually, I didn't even know if I had any photos in Snapfish.  Anyway, I ran across this one of Mya in these itty bitty piggy tales.  I just had to share.

We all got together at Matt and Amy's house this year for the Miranowski Christmas.

Mya got princess shoes from Granmda and Grandpa Miranowski.  She dug through Popi and Lily's dress up stuff to find the dress to complete the Ariel ensemble

It's always a good time with the Miranowskis:)  We pushed the dining room table aside and had our own dance:)

Christmas 2011

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!  It seems like it went by so fast!  It never really felt like Christmas to me this year.  The weather has been so nice.  It's almost bizarre!  It's 51 degrees today and it's January 5th!  Anyway- onward with the Christmas Pics.  These are all pics from my side of the family's Christmas (my mom, dad, sister, and Grandma came to my house on Christmas Eve).  I hardly picked up my camera this year, so my mom shared all her pictures with me.  Thanks mom:)

 The white tree in the picture below is my favorite Christmas decoration this year (and the "SNOW" letters).  I used scrapbook paper and ribbon and turned all of our old photo Christmas cards into "ornaments".  I just love how it turned out.

St. Mary's Christmas Concert

Tonight we went to watch my nieces (Mya's cousins) in the St. Mary's School Christmas concert.  Grandma asked that all the girls (even the ones not in the concert yet- you have to be in kindergarten:) to wear dresses so she could get some pictures...

I ordered Mya's Christmas outfit online this year and it hasn't arrived yet.  Luckily Jude had one Mya could borrow.  Mya was so proud that it was Jude's dress.

We had a cousins wedding this past Friday (11/11/11).  So Mya and I got all dolled up and had Daddy take a picture:)

Halloween!

Happy Halloween everybody!  After much deliberation Mya finally decided to go as Butterfly Barbie.  We went to Zoo Boo on Sunday night with James and Keisha and their family.  Lots of fun.  It was our first time there and so glad we finally went!

On Monday (Halloween) Mya decided she would wear the ladybug costume her cousin Jude had worn a couple years ago.  They had a Halloween party at preschool and then she wore it out trick-or-treating in our neighborhood that night.  Fun times:)
