All Decorated for Christmas

Merry Christmas!  It took awhile, but my entire house is finally jazzed up for the holidays!  I bought one beautiful bright red antique hutch for my dining room last year and ever since I've had this crazy obsession with bright red.  It dominated my Christmas decorating this year as well and I LOVE it:)

I have always wanted to hang a wreath over this mirror...

My apothecaries...

Okay, I know the cords behind that tree look terrilbe!  I raced around taking these photos and really didn't take the time to primp the shots... just pretend you don't see them:)  That's a black feather boa wrapped around the tree if you're wondering...  Yes, I'm that kind of girl:)

Just a shot of red on the table... a little berry tree.  Oh, and that hutch is jammed behind the chair to make room for my mammoth tree in the living room!

Another little shot of red.  Yep, I think red looks best in "little shots".

I got those wire baskets on that shelf from Ikea for, I think, a buck!  The saying above the shelf says, "Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life."  I put that there so my husband sees it each day when he leaves for work.  Hint, hint:)

My big fat wreath.  It's a beast hanging that thing!  The plastic candies on the rail Mya loves.  I kind of had her in mind when I bought them at "day after christmas clearance madness" last year...

Just a little sugar bowl filled with mini mirror ball ornaments...

That is an old picture of me and Randy at our Junior Prom!  Who knew....  the good old days:)

My new shelves:)  Thanks hubby for hanging these for me.... twice:{ eek!

Hallways

Love how there's some cord hanging out of my computer hutch.  Lovely...

Ta Da!  The tree...  I have no idea how to photograph these things.  Maybe I'll try for a better one in daylight.  And, uggh, more cords...

A couple of my favorite ornaments.

Mya's Sweet Little Tree

FaLL HaPpEnInGs

Pheasant hunting opener is in October in ND.  Starting on that date my husband becomes a hunting-obsessed lunatic.  Because he's gone hunting A LOT he thought he better get me some flowers to keep the peace:)  Smart man.
Somebody from Child Protective Services is probably going to show up at my door after posting these pics of my daughter freely riding aound in a backhoe!  She loves it... her daddy loves involving her, too.

A much safer spot to watch daddy work.

The fashionista!  Just got her these boots and she thought they paired well with jammies, a fleece hat, and necklace:)

I saw our boots sitting like this and just thought they looked so darn cute!!  This also says to me, "Winter is Near!"

This is Mya's newest CHEESE! face.

Cousins and Friends

Mya has LOTS of cousins, and a few good friends, too:)  Here's just a hodge podge of photos of Mya and her buddies from this fall.
Jaxtin, Bodin, and Mya watching Nanny Mcphee the Friday before Halloween

Ms. Mya and Ellie at Ellie's Birthday party.

We had a sleepover with Ellie at our house!  Did Mya steal her doll?  I bet she did!

Mya and Jaxtie:)  I LOVE this one!

Mya and her cousin Noah at Great Grandma's on Halloween!

A few of my friends and I organized a "Busy Moms Playgroup".  This is one of our get togethers at my friend, Jacki's, house.  The kids look thrilled!  (Well, it's more for the moms anyway!:)

HApPy hALlOwEeN!

Mya found my witch hat headband.  Glad she got some use out of it.  I never did put the darn thing on:)

The Snow White shoes I ordered online didn't make it on time, so I had to improvise.  I bought some plain white sneakers at Wal-Mart, added some mod podge and snow white stickers, some bling, and presto!

Snow White!

A mouthful of M & M's!

We went to Fergus to visit Great Grandma and she had a Snow White book for Mya!  Thank you Great Grandma!!

Grandma had this adorable little bike and she and Mya found a little baby to ride on it.  It was so darn cute.

Well, it's been a pretty busy day!  Off to bed we go!

Oh Fall, How I Love Thee

Recently, to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary, Randy and I headed out to the lake.  We have a travel trailer camper set up out at my dad's place in Ottertail County.  Ya Ya (my mom) watched Mya and hubby and I headed out there with his three dogs to soak in the awesome fall weather and views.
Dad's barn with the lake peaking out in the background.  Pretty sure this is what my heaven will look like.
Papa Bear,Baby Bear, and Mama Bear:)
Dakota.  Her tail appears fuzzy in the pic because she never stops wagging it...furiously!

Sweet Willow

We went up the road to Inspiration Peak.   Inpiration Peak is , basically, a hill (more like a mountain) that you trek up to get to an overlook.  I nearly died hiking up it.  Randy had to keep turning around to make sure I was okay.  I'm such a loser!:)  Note to self:  walk on your treadmill and get that a$$ in shape!  From the overlook you can see several lakes and the yummy fall leaves.

Well Hello Pretty Pumpkin!

Every year Mya paints a pumpkin at daycare.  So cute!  When I went to pick her (and the pumpkin) up today I told her I'd have to take a picture of the pumpkin when we get home.  She said, "Yes, and I will sit by it!".  So proud!
